Let’s go travel like locals. Here is such a relaxing place with lake and mountain views near Chiang Mai city center (30km away) +++ plus Giant KingKong family sculptures and they also have huts for rent (only 600 Baht per night) and… a zipline on the lake but I forgot to take a photo ^^
Around the lake they have many restaurants with perfect lake views. You can get a delicious meal with good price and fast service here.

Except KingKongs, the views with rice field and huts are beautiful too. I really love it and you may can stay here a night or more in the huts if you want new experiences
** If you want to see green rice field, you should go around Sep – Oct and gold rice field is around Oct – Nov
